In my life there are a lot of things that are important.
These are the things that I can think of right now.
There are probably more.
My Girlfriend, Jenn. She is also the best friend I've ever had. We have a lot of fun hanging out together and doing neat things. If there are miracles anywhere in the universes, then she is for sure one of them.
Cats. Without cats my existence would be futile. They bring me mucho happiness. And they are also really really cute. I like cats a whole lot.
Nature. Nature is one of the most therupeutic points in the entire world for me. Trees and the sky are my favorite mostly. I like taking pretty pictures of them a lot. The sky during the day and also during the night humble me and force me to think about the big picture instead of just what's right in front of my face.
My friends. My friends are amazing. Little could be/has been accomplished without them. Even if I'm hurt, angry, or feel alone, they are always there to say "You're still cool." or "Stop fucking crying." And as much as some of them annoy me or hurt my feelings sometimes I love them all the same.
Reading. PEOPLE SHOULD READ MORE! Not just children, but adults as well. If you don't think reading is important, at least watch the movies "The Neverending Story" or "The Pagemaster". I hope you feel differently after those. Not only does reading help the mind work better, but it lets you imagine things. Television rots brains. Get over it and turn it off. I feel really sad when i see people who just sit in front of a TV all day. There's a reason you're always bored my friend. It's because you have no imagination.
The Arts. Writing, Doodling, Taking Pictures, DIY Clothing, Painting. I love it all. And each one has a special place in my mind and heart. I may not be amazing at any of them, but I'm pretty good at all of them. Even if my work seems unprofessional and lacks a certain....."really goodness", I still think I do a pretty good job. Besides, I'm not making a living out of any of those. So I really have no one to impress but myself. Thanks pretentious art fags.
Music. Without music I'd still be toddling around in a baby walker. I love big time bands, but local bands and shows are where my heart is at. I mostly dig into folk punk, pop punk, crust punk, surf punk, and a whole bunch of shitty club punk rock bands. But I'm not limited just to a million types of punk. I'm also into most independent artists. Anything from indie hip-hop to solo cello artists is good. My girlfriend, friends, and I can a lot of times be found at local shows in the surrounding areas of northern va, some parts of wv, and southern md. It's a good time. And cheap! I give many thanks to local booking agents, riotfolk.org, and plan-it-x. Without those guys and gals, my faith in the scene as it stands would never have been renewed.
